Thank You & Goodbye For Now

Dear Mentor Me Learning Community,

Thank you for being a part of our now three-year journey to create innovative and transformational experiences for young people and their families. Check out our Youtube Channel to see our students in action OR watch the video below to see a recap of our 2019-20 Youth Leadership Program.

We have loved watching our MML students grow and thrive while exploring their passions and connecting with their community to make change. In these transitional times, we as an organization must also undergo growth and change to protect our programs and be able to serve youth in the years ahead.

Mentor Me has come a long way in three years - from creating and building a curriculum, to developing countless relationships with businesses, organizations and community supporters. While we cannot let this go completely, we have made the decision to press the PAUSE button on our student programs due to a loss in resource capacity during the Pandemic.

Our focus in the years ahead will be on creating a more flexible business structure so that we can reopen in 2022 and to continue supporting our students and community partners. One of our first steps towards accomplishing those goals is to use the funds raised in 2020 to support student initiatives and like-minded community organizations. Specifically granting funds to Algalita, Free Rein Foundation, Robyne’s Nest and Konquer Together.

We genuinely thank you for your support and encouragement, especially during this difficult time. The MML journey has allowed us to connect with amazing people, challenged us to do new things and take risks - just as we have mentored our students to do. We appreciate your patience and trust as we navigate these stepping stones towards growing and creating the next best thing for Mentor Me.

With Gratitude,

Ashley & the MML Board of Directors
