Celebrating Halloween with Community and Coco

Last night's first night of our Halloween Drive-In Series was a success! Families showed up early with costumes, ready to enjoy the (almost) full moon and get into the Halloween Spirit.

Our costume parade was a highlight from the night. Over twenty kids (and a few brave adults) strutted their costumes, waving as they walked and basked in the glory of the crowd's applause - check out the video below.

We even had a crew of 7 cars come from Long Beach - a special shout out to the "Jack and Jill" group. Their tradition of meeting monthly as a group was broken because of Covid-19, but this socially-distanced event gave them the opportunity to get together again. We were so happy to be part of that! Plus - their costumes were top notch! Seriously impressive.

If you were at movie night - THANK YOU for being part of such a great event.

A portion of the proceeds from these Huntington Beach Drive-In Movies goes directly towards our scholarship programs, so an additional THANK YOU from the Mentor Me Learning Team and our future students.

If you are interested in learning more about Mentor Me Learning, please explore our website.

We are always looking for new mentors, volunteers and/or general support with our programming - learn how to get more involved by filling out this inquiry form HERE.

We look forward to tonight's second Halloween Drive-In Movie "The Nightmare Before Christmas" (which is sold out!)

And if you are interested in our next Drive-In Movie, get your tickets for the November Giving and Gratitude Movie Series where we will be featuring "Pay It Forward" and "Wonder." Get more info. at this link HERE.
